Market Roundup Report: The current rally has legs although there could be healthy temporary pullbacks along the way as we move forward. The market has at this point priced in a 25 basis point decrease in interest rate at the Feds next meeting in September. There could and should be healthy pullbacks along the way but all indications are that the current rally has legs. It is a good idea to watch out and not be too aggressive with stocks that are already extended.

Stocks In The News/Stocks To Watch
The Toronto Market
The TSX has been advancing steadily since the big sell off on August 5. The index is currently sitting above the 23,000 level. We normally avoid stocks with current price less than $25 and also stocks with daily average volume traded under 100,000 but on the TSX most miners tend to fall outside of those limits. Here are some TSX miners that are worth adding to one’s watchlist: Ivanhoe Mines Ltd was up 2.70% or $0.48 today to close at $18.26 with 1.9M shares traded; Agnico Eagle Mines gained 0.59% or $0.66 to close the market session today at $112.44 with 812K shares changing hands.
The US Markets
It is time to start looking outside of or in addition to the Magnificent Seven technology stocks. (ROST) was up 4.23% or $6.25 to close at $153.95 with 3.2M shares traded.
Toll Brothers (TOL) is one of the homebuilders with a focus on expensive homes and the stock has been doing well in the market recently. TOL stock was up 5.62% or $7.51, closing today at $141.03 with 4.2M shares traded.
