The US Markets

All three major indexes were up today. The Dow Jones Index was up 134.13 or 0.30% to close at 44,556.04. The S&P 500 index was up 43.41 points or 0.72% to close at 6,037.88. The Nasdaq Composite was up 262.06 points or 1.35%, to close at 19,654.02. The markets came back alive today. Nasdaq was the top performer of the indexes, but really, both S&P 500 and NASDAQ, each had a good market outing, today. Investors should note that, indexes were up today but the volumes declined. That is a reminder to investors that the markets are not out of the woods yet. The positive performance by the indexes today lacked volume support so most likely the current volatility by the markets will continue. Investors must continue to trade with caution.
